Battle of the Books

We are excited to kick off our first year of Battle of the Books at Valley View Middle School!  

Interested students will be part of a team of 4 or 5 students.  Each team member will choose 4 to 5 books to read; however, we encourage students to read as many books as they would like from the list.  There are 20 books on the list.  In January/February 2020, teams will come together for a game show style tournament during school where they will work as a team to answer questions about the books on the list.  (See link for book list and forms).  Students do not have to read every book on the list; however, the more books each person on the team reads, the better chance they have when answering questions in a battle.
