After a semester of hard work, the middle school band students are ready to showcase their skills. Please make sure to have your student at Salem Jr. High ready in their seat with their class in the cafeteria by 5:30pm. There will be no audience allowed, so please plan ahead for dropping your student off and picking him/her up at 6:40 once the middle school students conclude their portion of the concert.
Items to have for the concert:
-instrument (mallets & sticks for percussion)
-music
-book
-Concert black attire (see previous emails for details on what is concert black attire)
Each student will have a designated place to sit in the cafeteria for when they are not up on the stage performing. Students will come up on stage one class at a time to perform their portion of the concert then return to their seat. The schedule will be as follows:
5:30pm- call time; students need to be in seats and be ready to practice coming on and off the stage
6:00pm(livestream begins)- 4th period band class
6:10pm- 5th period band class
6:20pm- 6th period band class
6:30pm-7th period band class
6:40pm- Middle school portion of concert concludes
