Tabitha’s Way is Providing Free School Backpacks

Nebo students and families that have fallen on hard times and will be needing school backpacks and supplies this school year are invited to the Spanish Fork Tennis Courts at the fairgrounds, 475 South Main Street in Spanish Fork on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Each school-aged child may receive a backpack filled with school supplies and other free resources that will be available at this event.

Backpacks are first come, first served, and there is no guarantee. Child must be present to receive a backpack.

The Utah Food Bank is offering free summer meals to those youth up to age 18.  The meals are available from May 31st until August 12th at various locations in Utah County.  See the flyers for more information.

Utah State Board of Education School Meals Updates

What is happening?
The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) waiver that provided free meals to students is expiring at the end of the school year in June 2022.

This means that school meals will no longer automatically be free for everyone and you will need to submit an application to qualify for free/reduced breakfast and lunch.

The VVMS choir wowed us with their amazing vocal performances last night!  They were amazing and a special thanks to Mrs. Christiansen for all of her hard work with the students.
