Wow! We are almost to the end of the school year! This means that we have our final band concert approaching very quickly.
End of year pops concert:
-Monday May 10th at 5:00pm @ Salem Jr. High in the cafeteria
-performances start at 5:00pm, Salem Jr. High performances begin at 7:00pm.
In order to accommodate students and guests we will have all students be present at 5:00pm but the 2 guests per student may only be present for their student's portion of the concert. You will need to know which class period your student has band and take note of the performance schedule below in order to be present for your student's performance time. Once your student has performed, you and your student will need to leave in order for the space to not exceed capacity.
Here is the schedule for the night of the concert:
5:00pm- 4th period band and percussion
5:25pm- 5th period band and percussion
5:50pm- 6th period band and percussion
6:15pm- 7th period band and percussion
Concert Attire should be as follows:
Students are expected to wear what is considered "concert black." For young men, this includes dark dress slacks, black socks, dark dress shoes, a white shirt, tie, and belt. For young women, this includes dark dress shoes, dark dress pants or long skirt (at least knee length please), dark tights or knee-highs, and either a dark or white blouse.
Please note that students need to be present at 5:00pm so we can go through the process of entering and exiting the stage. Students will be allowed 2 guests. We are excited to have an audience. Masks will be required by attendees. Thank your for your support and we'll see you on Monday May 10th!
