We are so excited to have new teachers at Valley View Middle School this year!
Meet Melynn Jackson, our new Math teacher!:
Mrs. Melynn Jackson will be joining Valley View this year. She states, “I am excited to teach 6th grade math this year! I fell in love with the idea of teaching math when I had a really good math teacher in high school. In fact, I liked her so much that I lined her up with my brother and they are now married. After high school, I attended Utah Valley University and received a bachelor’s degree in math education. I started teaching in 2019 and boy, what a year to start! When I am not teaching, I like to spend time with my family. I have two kids, a three-year-old girl (Nora) and a 9-month-old boy (Rafe). As a family we enjoy working together on our little cattle farm, watching movies, going on adventures, and being outside. My kids keep me pretty busy but when I can break away, I like to go for jogs, ride my bike, sleep, and read a good book.
