Meet Mrs Bailey, our new Math teacher!
My name is Mrs. Bailey and I am excited to be teaching 7th grade Math this year! Teaching is definitely one of my passions and I am excited for this new experience. I also love spending time with my husband and 4 kids (1 in HS, 2 on missions, 1 in grad school soon). We love sports, music, playing games, outdoor activities, traveling and just being together.
I love to play the violin and I am member of the MCO orchestra. I was able to travel with them to NYC to perform at Carnegie Hall a few years ago (crazy story with that!!- same night as the NYC power outage). In college, I also played fiddle in a band with a clogging group. Before teaching school, I taught violin lessons/orchestra for many years. I LOVE to read and I have a long list of favorites- it's hard to pick just 1! My favorite vacation spot is the beach and I found a new love of snorkeling this summer. The mountains are a close 2nd and I love to hike and hammock. I also love late night walks with my family, going to sporting events, concerts, plays and Broadway musicals.
