2nd Semester Class Change Information

2nd semester Class Change Request forms will be available in the Counseling Office beginning December 1. Forms MUST be completed and RETURNED before 3:30 p.m. on December 20, 2022.

Late forms will not be accepted

Forms will NOT be signed during class time, use time before or after school, or during Parent Teacher Conferences (Dec 13)

**Only semester long classes will be changed using this form.  Changes to full year pod classes (Math, English, Science) must be initiated by the current teacher group and approved by administration.

**Required classes (Social Studies, Utah Studies, STEM, CCA, PE) may MOVE as approved by the teacher, but must remain in the schedule.  

  1. Start by looking at the student schedule for 2nd semester in Infinite Campus to see where classes are scheduled  

  2. Check the Master Schedule (on the back of the form and on the Valley View website)  to see where classes are offered - not all classes will have space available

  3. Complete the request form making sure to choose an ADD class from the requested DROP period

  4. Obtain a signature from the “ADD” teacher first BEFORE the “DROP” teacher 

  5. Obtain a parent approval signature 

Return the form to the Counseling Office to have the change completed in the Infinite Campus system.
