Meet Melissa Davis, our new Technical Theatre teacher!
Hello! I am Melissa Davis or Mrs. D. I will be teaching technical theatre this year. I graduated from BYU in theatre arts education K-12. I love theatre and how it gives the opportunity for people to connect to themselves and others, tell stories, and be creative.
I have always loved the variety of ways to communicate through technical theatre and design. I have loved working backstage as a stage manager, lighting designer, spot light operator, child attendant and more. I’m excited to help students create and explore their own ideas and designs for a story.
In my free time, I love playing board games with family, friends, and my husband. I also love ice cream, dancing, basketball, and getting to know new people. I’m excited to get to know you all this year!
